Oh dear. Looks like the public are voting firmly with their wallets of late and giving the tiresome, fiddly and tweak ridden windows mobile the bullet of late. Makes a mockery of my chum Shaun’s “windows mobile is best” post last week. “Best” as in best if you’d rather spend most of your time fannying around with the o/s trying frantically to get it to work at an acceptable speed.
I hate to be smug here but I have been saying for many months that WM would be in big trouble should HTC start looking at other platforms, as they are now via Android. If this decline continues then WM will go the way of Palm, left in the hands of diehards…..those microsoft fanboys sporting well soiled 1991 Iron Maiden tour t-shirts, lank locks that are patently thinning but of which the wearer steadfastly refuses to accept the fact and of course the “customised” Dell home PC with “customised” sound system.
I should be more sympathetic but frankly WM has given me some of my least favourite smartphone moments over the past 2/3 years….it’s payback time.
