Good point for the Reds today at a wet and windy Tyncastle. It's never an easy place to come to and get a point but in our present predicament, struggling near the bottom, it is a bit of a bonus. We scored first early doors and they equalised shortly after. Jesus, Darren Mackie scored which was a shock to all concerned.
We hit the woodwork twice in the 2nd half but it sounds like it was a backs to the wall exercise for much of the 2nd period. Late on the ref awarded them a penalty (how many pens have we lost here late on down the years?) but luckily it was overturned after he consulted the linesman. Nice to see a ref finally take the opinion of his assistant who very often, has a better view of incidents in the penalty area.
We're now off the foot of the table after a win and point from our last two games, both away from home. Only problem is that we are back at home next weekend where we have lost 4 and drawn 1 of our 5 home games to date.
